Support oauth app for EU data centers

Some of our customers have recently migrated to the EU centers, from the US, and this migration was done by the Hubspot Team themselves. After this migration, these customers are not able to use our OAuth apps in their pipelines. The authenticated app sends the following error response:

I tried to check the documentation but could not find how/what we need to change in our OAuth apps/endpoints for this. Could the HubSpot team help me understand what changes I need to make in my OAuth app / the endpoints we query (currently its https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/objects/{object_name}/search), to ensure we can make API calls for customers in the EU region?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

The routing to the correct hublet/data center should work automatically if the request contains `portalId` as a query parameter.

I've also found this article where the developer specifies the EU-Hublet in the authorization URL:

https://app-eu1.hubspot.com/oauth/authorize

instead of

https://app.hubspot.com/oauth/authorize

Dear Mia,

I'm having the exact same problem right now.

The problem is with the details call: https://api.hubapi.com/account-info/v3/details

I can't add a portalId there, because that endpoint doens't use one (I tried it though).

Changing to the eu endpoint is not an option, because I use the same endpoint through the javascript library, and it's not configurable as far as I can see.

Any ideas on how to move forward for this client?
