How to install HubSpotApp from dev account to test account

Hi All,

I need to use the API key to make API calls from my test account. But we knew that starting July 15th we cannot create any new API keys. So I came to know that, we can install HubSpotApp from dev to test account. So post installation, it gives the access token which can be used to make API calls. Please find the image attached for your reference. Are these the steps needed to be followed for installation?

If all you want to do is call the API, then I suggest you use a private app instead. Private apps give you a static access token and are only for the account it's created on.

If you require things like workflow extensions, custom timeline items, or webhooks, then that's when you really need a public app. To connect the public app to an account, you first need to go to the link generated in the Auth section. (Install URL (OAuth))

Once you get to the redirect URL (Redirect URL can technically be any valid URL. I just use hubspot.com), you'll see a "code" parameter attached at the end.

You need to take that code and use it to generate a token:

https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/oauth/tokens

Once a token has been generated, your app should be installed on the selected account.
