There should be no issues doing this with nginx. I'd recommend checking out this article posted by HubSpot Solution Architect Robert Ainslie. It goes into a lot of detail as to how to set this up.

Hi,

I just read that new article about how to to using reverse proxy with HubSpot: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/cms/developer-reference/reverse-proxy-support .

Now I am wondering if there is a possiblity to use reverse proxy via nginx to proxy subdomain which is hosted at HubSpot to main domain directory.

Eg.: blog.mydomain.com (HubSpot) proxy to mydomain.com/blog (nginx)

That way I guess its not possible use proxy with subdomain.
