Upsert Contacts

Hello expert,

We are using Boomi to integrate data by calling the APIs. The requirement is to use APIs instead of manually import HubSpot objects. I need to get Contacts data from application A to Hubspot. The requirement is to get all contacts created in application A and cross-reference by phone number in HubSpot and then Upsert the contact data from application A to HubSpot. I see there is Create contact and there is Update contact, where is Upsert Contact? The requirement is to "update or insert" Contacts properties to HubSpot. For example: when application A has 20 fields, and Hubspot has 5 fields, then I can Insert 15 fields and update the 5 fields in Hubspot. I would like to know if the Update Contacts- Patch method will meet my requirement.

Patch is the correct method. Just have to make sure those properties exist with the HubSpot CRM
