Hi everyone,

I faced with this error on the website that uses hubspot forms.

An error when user backs on page with hubspot forms: "Couldn't find target container #hbspt-form for HubSpot Form"

Steps for bug reproducing:

1. Open in incognito mode the website page with HubSpot forms: https://bit.ly/3nxcek5

2. Go to another website page using the menu. For example "About". https://prnt.sc/127eic1

3. Press "Back" button in the browser.

4. In opened page click on "I'm interested!" for someone of the this 3 forms: https://prnt.sc/129o7el

Expect result: Form is opened correctly

Actual result: Form does not open, the user sees white rectangle instead the form https://prnt.sc/127en4f Open console in the browser and see errors: https://prnt.sc/127erm8

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi @VVlad,

never encountered something like this on an embed form.

How do you embed the form in elementor?

I've tried it and first got it as you described.

I've tried a few things
1. Firefox instead of chrome(my default browser) - works flawlessly(but shows notifications in the console)
2. Disabled Ghostery Chrome Addon(allowed HubSpot on your page) - worked for me

Before getting into the rabbit hole - have you tried other browsers & devices?

Thank you for your replies!

1) "Have you checked out this documentation?" - Yes, I did. Before this post creation, I visited a lot of pages (including your https://knowledge.hubspot.com/) but did not find the solution.

2) "How do you embed the form in elementor?" - It was made by a previous developer. In the admin page, I found only a place for the form entering for the footer: https://prnt.sc/12f7ouo It is possible that the rest of the forms were entered through the code - I have not yet figured out this.

3) "have you tried other browsers & devices?" - I tried such browsers on my Windows 10:

1. Firefox https://prnt.sc/12f79mt - the same issue with own notifications
2. Opera 75.0.3969.243 https://prnt.sc/12f7sra - the same issue with own notifications
3. Edge 90.0.818.51 https://prnt.sc/12f7vj7 - the same issue with own notifications

4) "Disabled Ghostery Chrome Addon(allowed HubSpot on your page)" - I do not use this addon in my Chrome browser.

@VVlad - It's a loading / timing issue... the elementor popups are preventing the form from re-rendering... Usually with elementor I install "Simple custom css + js" plugin and I put the embeds in there... and on the embed code you can set a target element and that might be better for the timing
