Get all associations API

My immeidate challenge has to do with getting line items associated with a deal however according to this post ( which is fairly recent) it doesn't look like its supported. Let me know if it has changed

Wondering if there is another way to achieve this i.e

Is there a way to get access to ALL “Associations” for a particular type like "deal -> line item" instead of calling following for each individual objectID.

Can you clarify - when you say "all associations for a deal" to you mean all the different object types like, contacts, companies, tickets and line-items or do you want to focus on getting only the associated line-items for a deal?

Ideally All of them not just line item.

Its very cumbersome to call one call per opportunity for each association type.

Think about overhead on Hubspot infrastructure. Deal has at least 5 possible associations, imagine 100K deals that 500K calls just to get the list of all associations for each deal.

So the V1 APIs provide the list of multiple associations like contact and account. From the discussions seems like API team is leaning towards providing a seperate API for associations so while contacts and accounts to deal associations still work association to other objects do not. Do I understand correctly that Deal -> Contact and Deal -> Account may not work in future as well ? Please confirm.

@amit-mo They have created custom objects in the enteprice package so there is not only 5 possible ways - there is an infinate amount of objects (not only deals, contacts, tickets, products and companies). You can make your own object called "houses" and add manual properties like "wall", "door" and "windows" to it now if I understand the documentation correctly (I only have professional myself).

I can not find anything to support getting multiple object associations for one specific object. Only 1 - 1 (example deals to contacts). @sharonlicari could confirm this by finding someone at hubspot that has deeper knowledge about associations (a product manager or something similar - I dont know how your organisation works exactly 🙂

What does it to the "Named" batch API that you mentioned to @akurt i.e. https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/associations

Now that one can associate any object to any object how do these named API work? Any idea ?

On a separate not @sharonlicari here is what I am looking for in order of priority

1. Ability to request all assoctions when I call API to get a particular type of oject. So if I call deals/paged I want the return result to have all the assocations to ALL objects

2. IF not #1, Given an ID for an Object I want all assocations related to that particulart object like for a Deal with ID give me all associations to contact, ticket, customObject1, accounts , customOjbect2

3. IF not #2, Given two object types , object Type 1 ( say Deals) and Object Type 2 ( Say CusttomOjbect1) I want to get all assocations between OjbectType1 -> ObjectType2 i.e. Deals -> CusttomOjbect1 in my example

In my case I want to get all contacts associated with a deal.

If I instead wanted all companies associated with a contact I would write this:

URL: https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/associations/contacts/companies/batch/read?hapikey=yourAPIkey

In my example with the deal vs contacts above I use the HTTP header: "Content-type":"application/json"

and in body (JSON) I use:

This JSON code is for Deal ID: 2776705763

This will return all the ID's for the contacts associated with this deal: Like this:

2 years later, and I still find only that same solution. Behind the "ALL" solution above we still must enter an array of ObjectIds. I had many objects and I want to get all associations of certain type (for example deal-to-contact), NOT by any specific ID (which is by its own cumbersome to find).
Is there any new solution since the above unresolved thread?
