Advanced use of the Timeline Events

Hi there!

We provide a multi-channel lead generation platform (https://lagrowthmachine.com) and are currently specifying how we will integrate hubspot.

Your API is...amazingly simple, thanks ! However, it seems like the docs are not completely accurate. Or maybe i can't find the solution by myself :'(

Here are my questions:

1. Is it possible to add a custom "LaGrowthMachine" pivot on top of the list:

2. Is it possible to add some metadata to be displayed in these filters (very top of the timeline):

3. In the screenshot below, i can distinguish 3 "areas" for the "email" event type. Is that specific to email integration ? can we also have 3 ? or is 2 and 3 both the description, with special formatting ?

Hey @BriceLGM,

Let's walk through the query one by one!

For both question 1 and 2, it is currently not possible to have (1) a pivot on top of the list and (2) a metadata to be display in these filters -- It'll only show the app as a whole under 'Integrations' like this:

As for question 3, the current timeline events template is structure in two sections: Header template and Details template. Within the details template, you can add extraData as such: extraData.

the docs are up to date then. do you know if there's any plan for a change concerning point 1 and 2 ?

Hey @BriceLGM,

At the moment, I do not believe there's plan for the feature on point 1 and 2.

Having said that, if you haven't already, I'd recommend jumping over to the HubSpot Ideas Forum and posting this idea there so that it's visible to the HubSpot product team and other HubSpot customers and developers. Hopefully this will gather more interest.
