Adding notes when creating a deal?

Sorry for what's probably a silly question, but I searched the documentation and can't seem to find anything. Can I use the API to create a 'note' to be attached to a deal? I don't see any endpoints for Notes nor anything in the Deal endpoint that will support this.

I think you would need to use the engagments endpoint: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/engagements/create_engagement
