API to query conversations (Live Chat)?

Wondering if there is an API, similar to the "Engagements API", that would allow us to query for recent "Live Chat" messages in order to retrieve the chat messages linked to a particular contact (email address). The desire is to load these chat interactions into another system.

Have scanned the recent API docs, but not seeing any way to retrieve "Live Chat" interactions.

Hey @Tim_Munro,

At the moment, we do not have a public API to retrieve chat messages or export it. For now, you can only Email the chat transcript or view it in-app.

Hello @WendyGoh , Is there any other option to export chat messages from Chatflow besides emailing the transcript. Can I use a webhook to trigger an external endpoint to export the entire chat conversation once its completed.

Hey @marcusC,

Currently, HubSpot APIs does not support an endpoint that export chat messages. The best way to retrieve these messages is still using the Email chat transcript feature within your HubSpot portal.

So the API is there but it does not look like the public can consume it (outside of using the front end UI):

Is the endpoint (albeit with additional query args) but it doesnt like the `hapikey`. There must be someway of us being able to interact with an already existing API?
