Question regarding Products

Hi HubSpot Support.

I have a question about hub spot integration.

We have a product with objectId: 101690820

We exported DEAR sale to HubSpot deal with this product:

POST /crm-objects/v1/objects/line_items/batch-create HTTP/1.0

Everything looks fine, hs_product_id is correct in new deal HubSpot:

When I open the product, from this deal I see that SKU field is empty.

It looks strange, we have a link to product library, SKU fields is not editable, but it is empty…

I tried to create a HubSpot deal through HubSpot UI (website).

HubSpot hs_product_id value looks the same (101690820), but when I edit the product from the deal that has been created via HubSpot UI, I see the product SKU:

What is wrong with our export, why when we export deal with link to product library, the deal does not show product’s SKU?

Hey @Analyst,

Thanks for bringing this up!

I'm also seeing that if we create a line item with product ID 101690820 and associate the line item to a deal, the product SKU field doesn't populate the value.

On the other hand, if I add the product on the deal record in-app, I'm able to see that the product SKU field display the value just fine.

In this case, I'll have to check in with my team and keep you posted here.

Hey @Analyst,

Just an update! Our team have deploy a fixed for this and going forward, you should be able to see the product SKU when added via line item API. I've tested it out on my end and I'm able to see the product SKU.

Do try it and let me know if you're seeing otherwise.
