@MFrankJohnson so this scenario works off the IP addresses as they enter the website? Depending on where they are located they could see a different landing page and form?

I am trying to avoid using the GDPR compliant form for every inbound page we have. But I will need to get a developer to help me if this is an IP driven thing.
Is there such a thing as a conditional form on a landing page? (GDPR reason within the text)

Reason I ask is that it seems for GDPR reasons, it would be great to have someone come to a preliminary landing page, determine their country, and then send them to a GDPR compliant landing page if from Europe, and to a normal one if from anywhere else. Obviously what we are worried about is not creating a GDPR compliant landing page for Europeans (which is only 10% of our business), which is rather easy to do, but rather how extending these additional requirements will impact conversions for the rest of our business. Thus a page with some sort of a Europe/non European screen, routing to separate landing pages and then after conversion, back to a common asset delivery page. That make sense? It seems so simple that I'm surprised no on has raised it. Thanks.

Q: Is there such a thing as a conditional form on a landing page? (GDPR reason within the text)

Short A: Sure is.

- see http://devlp.frankinbound.com/lp-example-form-is-gdpr-dependent-uk-and-us

Longer A:

That page uses Smart Rules to serve a different form to the UK than the one we see in the US. Here's what the UK form looks like (in case you don't want to fuss with a UK-proxy for testing). The UK form is GDPR-compliant while the US form is not.*

(*) Disclaimer: This example LP focuses on the GDPR-compliance of the form. The page as a whole may not be GDPR-compliant because it lacks clear and unambigous language explaining why the information is being collected.

n/a

Help answer your question?

Ok @DMurphy1, so 'technically' HubSpot uses IP address to identify country (when it can). However this example LP uses a Smart Form that triggers based on referring country (a smart form option). Just a little HubSpot Contextual Marketing applied to a landingpage.
