How do I find emails that have unsubscribed.

I am trying to locate a list of contacts that have unsubscribed from receiveing emails. Where would I find that? And how do I distinguish insubscribed from emails that have bounced?

Hi John,

For this you'd build active lists. Within those active lists, you can filter for "Opted out of email" properties.

For example, you'd be filtering for "Opted out of email marketing information" = "yes". These would not include bounced contacts. (If emails have bounced before, they haven't reached the recipient and he couldn't have been able to click the unsubscribe link at the end of those emails.)

To answer your second question, you could filter for "Email hard bounce reason" = "known".

Thank you for your reply. I do not see the "Path" to email hard bounce reason.

I have contacts> create lists> contact based>

And then I do not see the ability to filter as you vhave described. I am very new to the program can you provide more detail?
