Hi @AAalto! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊

From what I understand, you are looking for insight into measuring what portion of your marketing emails land in a recipient's inbox versus the promotions filter, right?

I want to invite some subject matter experts to see if they have any suggestions.

Hey @inboxhannah, @franksteiner79, @TomM2 do you have any thoughts on defining inbox placement?

Hey HubSpot community! I'm interested in how do you measure inbox placement for your email campaigns?

How do you know which emails landed in the promotions side and which landed in the primary inbox?

Sorry I was a bit unclear, but I mean how are people tracking whether their email lands in the recipients primary, promotions, etc. inbox.

As far as I know this is not trackable directly in HubSpot, but how would you track this?

It's impossible to track emails' exact delivery without direct access to the recipient's inbox.

A solution is to use email deliverability tools such as GlockApps. Essentially, you send your email from your address to a set of temporary (burner) email addresses created and monitored by GlockApps. After sending your email, the tool checks each burner email to see where your email ends up and provides you with a report on the results.
