sending all my customers an email

Hi there,

I need some help on sending one email which id like to send out to my customers who are in that customer lifecycle stage how can I create a list when I have

1,444 of them in my contacts

and

805 of them in companies

I don't understand what filters I would have to use to do this on lists.

I don't think it should be this hard to send out an email to all my customers.

Please can someone help me with this issue?

Hi @CCurtis0,

Emails can only be sent to contacts in HubSpot, not to companies. Companies are not emailable.

If you want a list of all contacts which are marked as customer or which are associated with a company that is marked as customer, this is how you'd do it:

This assumes that you're maintaining the lifecycle stage property. If you're not maintaining this property, let me know which other property you're using.

If you simply want all contacts, you can filter for "Create date is known".

Hi @CCurtis0

When you are sending emails you are always working with contacts and contact filters.

For contacts you simply create an active contact list, filtered by lifecycle stage = customer and you are good to go.
