&lt;P&gt;HubSpot excludes these contacts from email sends automatically, both contacts that opted out of all communication and contacts that unsubscribed from specific subscription types.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you want to be on the safe side (although there really isn't any need to), you could always include these criteria in your active lists or work with exclusion lists ("Recipients" tab of your email).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;These would be the contact properties to filter for in your active (exclusion) list:&lt;/P&gt;
