Upcoming Sunset: HubSpot Academy CMS for Developers Certification

What’s changing

Starting on May 30, 2025, the HubSpot CMS for Developers Certification will no longer be available. The content of this course has been updated over the years but has hit a point that significant revisions are needed to to keep up with the pace of Content Hub's updates. If you have an existing certification or plan to gain a certification before the deprecation of this course, your certification will be valid until it expires.

Moving forward, we recommend you use the resources list below for the most up-to-date information.

Hi HubSpot team,

As a non-partner HubSpot developer, the CMS for Developers Certification has been an important way for me to demonstrate my skills and credibility, especially since many other certifications are limited to partners. With its upcoming removal, I’m concerned about the lack of alternatives available to independent developers like myself.

Will there be a replacement certification or updated course content in the near future to help developers continue showcasing their proficiency with the Content Hub?
