I'm not sure about email. But in site pages I'm almost certain this is set by {{standard_header_includes}} and the icon itself is set within your brand settings.

(That's off the top of my head though)

By the way, the code samples provided are not something that would be used for an email, as the intended use case is to select what image to show when sharing in web page link on a social media platform.

So there are already two good answers on the "favicon" portion of the question from @BarryGrennan and @Jaycee_Lewis - whether it be for web or email purposes 🙂

Though if the goal is to find where that specific code is on your website, then most likely that would be in a "header.html" (or something similar) file of your website theme, which would be in the Design Manager.

@evaldas thank you for confirming. I suspected that it wouldn't be used for an email. But it's been a fair few years since I delved into email development so I wasn't 100% confident.
