Was there a change in functionality with Brand colors showing as options in color pickers? We are now only see 1-2 brand colors in the color pickers when before there used to be at least 4-5 as long as we had the brand kit created. I saw that there is now a new beta Brand Indentity in Settings. Is this related? Is there a way to have more colors show in the pickers?

Thanks,

Hi @tmcmillan99

You’re absolutely right to notice that the color picker in HubSpot seems different lately — and yes, it’s very likely connected to the new “Brand Identity” beta feature.

Here’s what’s probably going on:

What’s this “Brand Identity” Beta?

HubSpot is testing a new centralized section in Settings called Brand Identity, where you can manage all your branding assets — like logos, fonts, favicons, and colors. The goal is to give you one place to manage your brand's look across the entire platform.

Why Are Fewer Colors Showing Up?

With this update, HubSpot may be simplifying the color picker to only show the Primary, Secondary, and Accent colors from your brand kit. The idea is to keep the picker cleaner and less cluttered. If you had more colors showing before (like 4-5), those were likely stored under Additional Colors, which are now managed separately.

How HubSpot Handles Brand Colors Now:

Primary & Secondary: Your main brand colors, shown prominently.

Accent Colors (up to 3): Supporting brand colors, also visible in most editors.

Additional Colors (up to 16): These aren’t shown everywhere by default, but can still be added to your color picker if configured.

How to Bring Back More Color Options:

Go to Settings in HubSpot.

Click Brand Identity in the left-hand menu.

If you have multiple brands, choose the right one from the dropdown at the top-right.

Under the Colors tab, scroll down to Additional Colors.

Click + Add to include more brand colors (you can enter hex codes or use the color picker).

Don’t forget to save your changes.

Once you do that, the added colors should appear again in your color pickers across the platform.

If things still don’t look right, consider giving feedback to HubSpot since this is a beta feature — your input helps them improve it!

We have the brand colors set up for this client but as was in my attachement, only two colors show in the color picker. One is the primary but the other is an additional color and not even the secondary or accent colors. I will reach out to Hubspot to try and verify what the correct functionality should be with the beta. It's definitely like it was before where they automatically showed.
Brand Colors-
