I have migrated a site from Wordpress to HS staging. I noticed that internal URLs in the body are hard coded with the domain. I removed them on the front end and they populate when saved.

If I look in the source code it is relative not static like I want.

Example:
relative = "/products/shoes

stative = "https://stating.com/procucts/shoes"

Attaching a couple of screenshots as an example of front-end vs source code.

My questions is "If they are relative in the source code does this mean when I change my url these will automatically update?" That to me is how it should work, but I can't find any documentation, and support thinks I have to hand code the new domain in, but they really can't give me a definitive answer.

Source code

Front-end editor

Hi @TSwisher008

Yes, the links will be updated. You do not need to update the relative links again. For your relative links which you have added in your rich text editor in the staging area, there will bea sandbox domai,n but when you make it live, the domain will be updated. If you want to know more, then I will suggest going through this community post.

I hope this will help you out. Please mark it as Solution Accepted and upvote to help another Community member.

Thanks!
