Add Scopes to Verified App - Do I need to verify it again?

Hey everyone,

I have an app that is listed in the Marketplace. It has been verified by Hubspot and everything is fine.

However, I need to add a new scope (sales-email-read to be specific). Would I lose my validation for Hubspot and need to re-validate my app? Or is it fine?

From what I understand, updating the scopes should not affect the validity of your app on the HubSpot marketplace, but I want to get in touch with my Marketplace team to be sure. Could you share a link to your app listing in the Marketplace in the meantime? Thanks! 😊

Thanks for your patience, @AWhyBravo ! My Marketplace team confirmed that scope additions to listed apps do not require re-review by the team. However, your install base would likely need to reinstall the app to utilize the functionalities tied to this new scope. Please keep in mind that to remain compliant with our App Marketplace listing requirements, the app must actually use these new scopes, and app partners should really be updating their listing to call out the new functionality the scope supports or unlocks.
