Section background color now outputs background-image: linear gradient CSS code

Hi,

for my company's website I'm using the hubspot CMS native section styling options (alignment and spacing, background). A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that sections which previously had a background color set via the section styling and a background image set with custom css in the page code, are not displaying the background color anymore.

I investigated a bit in the browser dev tools and found that the css code is different, without any changes done to the page:

- previously a background color set via section styling was output as background-color: #hexcode

- now the same background color is output as background-image: linear-gradient

Does anyone know if this is something that's here to stay? Is there any CMS release notes I can check to make sure things don't break with updates?

Have you tried changing the value and re-saving it? See if it rebuilds the cache.

Hi @GiantFocal, tried that to no avail. Still outputs as a linear gradient using the hex code that was set as both the starting and ending color, instead of background-color.

Just found this because I'm now experiencing the same issue. Removing the background and re-adding it does not change anything. This is problematic as the background-image declaration is overwriting my other declaration, when I just want it to be background-color, as it should be.
