How to integrate custom font family in email configuration

In HubSpot settings under Marketing -> Email, I can see a limited selection of fonts. I need to incorporate Poppins and Lato fonts into the email templates. Could someone help me add these new fonts to the dropdown list in the configuration?

Hi @JM860,

implementing custom fonts in these settings is not possible.

Technically, you can also have quite some hard time to implement custom fonts into emails. This is due to how email-clients work. While you could technically drop a rich-text module into a dnd email with some <style>-tags, it will - most likely - not work since the most common email clients ignore/delete <style>-tags, that are outside the <head>-tag. Since you can't access the <head>-tag of a dnd email, custom fonts won't work in most email clients.

If you don't rely on the dnd email builder, I'd recommend to create HTML email templates in HubSpot and implement your custom fonts and their styling there. This is the only safe way to get custom fonts to display.

Hi @JM860 sharing an update regarding custom fonts in marketing emails that may be helpful, it's still limited, but a little easier to manage:

new public beta: Custom Fonts in Marketing Email (all hubs/tiers)

Why does it matter?You can now apply your brand's custom fonts directly in the drag-and-drop editor, so you don't have to choose between using an easy-to-build template and staying true to your brand guidelines.

Important limitation: Custom fonts are only supported and will be displayed in limited email clients such as Apple Mail. Other popular email clients like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo do not support custom fonts and will display the fallback font instead. This means recipients using these clients will see your specified fallback font (e.g., Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman) rather than your custom font.
