Customer portal SSO and external app

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting so I hope you can help me with advice regarding this issue. We've set up a customer portal and we are looking into the option of creating a single set of credential for the people accessing it and using an external app.

The same set of credentials from the external app should be the set they use to go into the customer portal and not the other way around. My questions are:

1. is this available for the Professional subscription?

2. And if yes, how does the process look like?

I've read article 1, article 2 and article 3 on this, but I'm still not clear on the process. Thanks!

Hi Alexa,

According to the second article you shared, Set up single sign-on (SSO) to access private content, Service Hub Professional does support the integration of the HubSpot Customer Portal with an external Single Sign on Service. So it should be possible on Professional.

The process of configuring SSO is described in the same article. It is technical however, and most likely needs to be carried out by someone familiar with the technologies and platforms being used.
