Not getting form notification

Hi all,

I placed a form here, with the setting that notifications should be going to my emailL

However, no matter what I try, I cannot find the notification in my gmail inbox. Also not in Spam or when I look for "hubspot".

Anyone who knows what could be wrong?

Hi @SvanWilligen happy to help figure out why you're not getting the form notifications.

Since your form is added to a WP site, can you check your form settings here for the users who should be getting the notifications to make sure it is configured correctly:

and then confirm in Settings > Notifications > Email > Form Submissions that you have this enabled for your user:

Also, is it ok if I submit a test form submission?

@SvanWilligen thank you for sharing the screenshots for your notification settings, I submitted a test of the form.

Can you check if my contact has been added to the CRM?

I'd like to first confirm the contact was successfully created, then check inbox, spam/junk, to see if the notification email can be found.

Thanks a lot for helping me on this.

This is interesting. You showed up in my CRM, but there is no email notification in stijnvanwilligen@gmail.com. See screenshots.

1. What could be the matter?
2. As a work-around, I could set an email notification to send from Zapier whenever "How did you hear about us" is filled out on a new Contact. This would overcome the limitations I now experience from (1) in Hubspot. But I would expect (1) to just work.

@SvanWilligen thank you for the additional details and checking both the CRM and gmail for my form submission.

This very strange and not the expected behavior. My recommendation would be to contact HubSpot Support if you have a paid subscription (the post is tagged starter, but the form has the free label link) and provide the information from this thread, specifically the screenshots from the test submission I completed so they can identify why the notifications aren't going through.

If you don't have a paid subscription with access to support, I can loop in the community team to see if they can help further.
