Redirecting a file URL

I have an uploaded pdf file that i'd like to redirect to a different website. However, I've been told that this isn't possible to do in Hubspot. Do I have any other options to redirect the url? Any third-party services or something similar?

Hi @ZWalters,

do you mean that you'd like to have a different URL to the file?

so instead of

https://HUBID.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/HUBID/PDF-NAME.pdf

something like

https://YOURDOMAIN.com/PDF-NAME.pdf

It is possible to achieve this by multiple ways

In the file Manager
open the file in the File Manager and select one of the connected domains for the file in the "File URL by domain"
Set the default URL of all Files uploaded from the generated HubSpot URL to your own one(will mostly like for future uploads)
You'll find this setting here:
settings(cog icon;top right corner) -> Website -> Pages -> SEO&Crawlers -> Default File Manager Hosting Domain
create a redirect in the settings
You'll find all of your redirects here:
settings(cog icon; top right corner) -> website -> Domains&URLs -> Redirects

Thanks for your reply. I'm actually trying to redirect to a different website/url I don't own. So a redirect would be the best solution, however Hubspot does not allow redirects for file uploads. So I'm looking for a different solution.

Not that I ever found, sorry! I kinda just learned my lesson and starting using a different url service that I have more control over.
