Alternate page with proper canonical tag

Hi,

I am using HubSpot cta buttons on my static website.
I simply copy the provided code and paste it directly into our HTML file.

For example, this is the code provided, and I copy and paste exactly as it is:

The buttons work perfectly, but it is generating an error on Google related to the Alternate page with a proper canonical tag.

All the buttons are generating urls like this: https://mydomain.com/__hstc=222388932.2f3f33a24b44870ec4a577029c49e44b.1688688000127.1688688000128.1688688000129.1&__hssc=22238 8932.1.1688688000130&__hsfp=3428004140&hsCtaTracking=770d11b8-53d6-4624-a159-e921c714d414|432e2820-48c8-4d20-92bc- d9afcd03522f

How do I solve this problem?

Did you get this resolved? If not, here's what I do next:

If these are not on HubSpot hosted pages, make sure you have canonical tags on each page the CTA is used on. A simple example:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://yourdomain.com/preferred-url/" />
Try using Google's Rich Results Test to verify your canonical tags are recognized
Work through the provided steps here from Google's support for this issue — Duplicate / Canonical issues in Search Console? Check this out!

Hi Jayce,

I am not sure that you understood my question.

My website is not hosted in Hubspot, and I am adding the code that the platform gives to me to my HTML file.

All the pages have the correct canonical tags. And what is generating the error is the CODE OF THE BUTTON. When people click on the button, it goes to a different URL, with the code that you use to track, and Google understands that this page is a new one and that we are not using the same canonical tag.
