We have a number of properties that were added to Hubspt from Contact Form 7. Many of these were originally dropdown options or checkboxes, but have been added to Hubspot as single-line text fields.

With the other properties that were text fields too, we have workflows setup to copy the values over, however single-line text fields and checkboxes/dropdown are not compatible fields so these cannot be copied

We are looking for way to map these properties over to our newly created corresponding Hubspot properties so the contact that are associated with the propertes added from Contact form will then be associated with Hubspot ones.

Hey @CHutt5, thanks for reaching out!

Is Contact Form 7 a HubSpot form or an external form?

If it's a HubSpot form, you just need to edit the form and replace all of the applicable single-line properties with your dropdown properties. That will push form submission data directly into your dropdown properties.

If it's an external form, the best course of action will depend on what specific tool you're using. It sounds like you may be able to edit that form and create dropdown values that match what you have in HubSpot. That should satisfy your workflows and copy the values over as expected (again, as long as everything matches HubSpot).

You definitely want to use dropdown fields over single-line text ones whenever possible, so it could be worth considering a different form tool or some sort of integration that better allows you to capture that data.

Hope this helps!!
