Diagnosing permission-based errors like EACCES is challenging. Hopefully, the community can help get you closer or rule out some common roadblocks.

Please ensure you have tried both of these steps. Even if you tried one or the other, it cannot hurt to do both, if needed, one more time.

Please note: Neither of these steps requires you to uninstall anything beforehand — Source. Just follow the steps. Save anything required. Power your system down. And reopen anew. That's how I do it. Just in case anything needs to be updated or get settled after making changes.

Hi @RalphEmbalsado,

just to make sure - you have installed Node.js, right?

If it's your private maschine - try

sudo npm install -g @hubspot/cli

prepending "sudo" to your command means running it as admin/"sledgehammer method". It can fix some things but shouldn't be the way to go. So don't overuse it.

If it's not your maschine - please contact your IT admin so he/she installs everything for you.
