Using custom module in Quote

Hi,

I am very new to HubSpot CMS and struggling to create a custom quote template.

I managed to:

- create child theme and clone modern.html template to make edit

- create a new custom module with 4 text fields (required input from users)and put it in the modern theme above

- when I created a new quote template, I was able to see the module appear in the template.

To achieve this, I only added the snippet from module to the following area in modern.html

However, when I tried to create a quote using such template, I do not see the in the flow the area for users to provide input for the new module I have created.

I am sure I am missing something. Please help! Thank you

You're not missing something, the actual quote flow will only ever show the default fields. Any other fields added to a quote template can only be edited in customized quote templates as you've seen. It's quite an unfortunate limitation of Quotes since it requires a new customized quote to be created any time any of the fields need to be changed. 😔

@alyssamwilie thanks for the answer, it is disappointed that such functionality is not possible. I will have to live with it then.
