Adding blog titles to the blog slider

Hi guys!

I'm trying to add titles and links to the blog slider from a template I downloaded. I was able to add an image no problem, but am not sure where to add the other information. This is the first time I work with a blog template that has this functionality and I haven't published it yet, so if these fields show up once I published the blog, then problem solved.

tried to update the caption information:

And am super confused as to where to plug it in. I had even inputted a link URL and that didn't seem to get applied.

could you please specify what exactly you want to achieve?

Like "I want to have a slider module on websites/landing-pages/thank-you pages which displays the latestest X blog posts" or "I want to have a slider in the blog listing view with the latest X blog posts"? I'm asking because there are differences in coding. For example: If you want to have a slider for blog posts outside the blog functionality you'll need a custom module which will "grab" the blog posts automaticly. If you want to have it in the blog listing template you'll need to modify the template.

Do you want to have every blog post as a slider or only specific ones?

For given informations I would say that you have to do it manually. This means that you have to enter the blog title and mark it and link it in the rich-text editor.

Hi Anton!

I want to have a slider in the blog listing view. The template comes with a slider in the listing view and the post view. It's just not coded to display posts and doesn't allow me to input them within the designer. I don't have a preference in what to display but would say either the four most recent posts or I would put in four posts manually, whichever is easier. If it's easier to display the four most recent posts, let's do that.

I'm just not sure what css you would have to add and where (main blog template css, post module, or listing module), so any guidance you can give, I would appreciate it.

I figured out how to edit each banner. The"edit" option was actually hidden in the template. Seems to work fine. Thanks!
