Creating a Member Profile Page (Similar to HubSpot Membership Example)

All,

Looking to create a 'personalized profile' page similar to the example shown in the HubSpot Membership sales information: https://www.hubspot.com/products/cms/memberships

Basically this:

Does anyone know if they are accomplishing this by making those modules "smart" and based off of list membership? So when someone logs in, a cookie is based on their browser and HubSpot recognizes which list they belong to? If so, how do they get the other modules to disappear using this feature?

It's done using HubL, mainly via the request_contact.is_logged_in variable. You can see more about it here.
