topic Codependent inherited fields in CMS Development

In themes we have the "inherited_value" option per the documentation: https://github.com/HubSpot/cms-theme-boilerplate/blob/9ea5f749ee7b18fd65f24e8488e40bf4b3201706/src/README.md

However this is only for default values.... What about cases where I always want the field to be codependent on another? An obvious use case are minima and maxima for ranges on the number sliders.

I don't see this functionality available unless I've missed it.
