Module Choice Field - Select always shows 'Search' option

I have a Choice field in my module. When it displays as a 'Select' it has an additional 'Search' entry in the list. This appears regardless of whether I have set a default.

This 'Search' entry is not present if I display the field as 'Radio' instead.

Where does this come from and how can I get rid of it?

Hey, yes, the issue is still present.

Creating a blank module, adding a single `Choice` field, setting the default selection to `Label 1`, and making no other changes...If I then add this module to a new page I still see the extra "Search" entry in the list.

It doens't seem to matter which template it is, tried it in our custom templates and also default VAST templates.

Hi @BWF,

this is completly normal.

The "Search" option is added due to "no state" option for options. So basicly if you don't want to have value "none" instead of value 1, value 2 ...

Hi @Anton ,

I have the same problem, I want to make a dropdown without "Search" but with the following options:

{% choice "contentsize" label="Content breedte", value="smallcontent", choices="smallcontent, mediumcontent, largecontent", export_to_template_context=True %}

and set "smallcontent" as default. Is this possible?

For what does the word "Search" stand for anyway if it gives back an empty value? Why not call it "None"? It's confusing.

And about this default Search option, there is no info in the Developer Docs: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/cms/hubl/tags#choice
