Hi,

I'd like to send emails to different clients using different addresses and display names under the same account. For example, when sending emails to business partners, I'd like to use my personal name and a personal email address (the one I use to register for hubspot account). But to potential clients, I'd prefer using sales@mycompany.com or support@mycompany.com under the display name of Sales team or Support team. Can I do that?

I know I can do this by creating a user with the desired email address. But as I'm just starting my business, I'd like to do couple things all by myself at the moment.

When you send an email from the CRM, the Fromaddress defaults to the email address of your user in the CRM. If you have a second email address that you want to send emails from, you can add this as a connected account in your CRM user settings.

Note: If you have connected a Gmail inbox that has an alias set up, that alias will show up in the dropdown menu for the From field in the email composer.

In your HubSpot Sales account, navigate to Account Menu > Profile & Preferences.

Select Security in the left sidebar menu, and then under the Email Aliases section, click Add email address.

Enter the email address you'd like to connect, then click Save.

To send an email using your newly connected email address:

Navigate to Contacts.

Click the name of the contact.

In the interactions box above the timeline, click Email.

Click the dropdown menu beside the From address and select a different email address.

To send a sequence from an alias or secondary email in the CRM, click the drop-down next to the From field and select the email address. You can then click the Sequences link to select and configure your sequence.

An email alias is an alternate address that points to a user's existing email account. You can create an alias in your connected email account and use that alias to send a sequence without issue.

A secondary account is another unassociated email address you may have. For example, you can connect your personal Gmail account to HubSpot (a different account than the one paying for HubSpot Sales Pro) and send a sequence.

The email address set up in your user settings doesn't necessarily need to be the email address you are using to send sequences. Your user email address may be an alias as long as you have an inbox connected to HubSpot with the alias configured.

Hello I have the same problem with this one, wherein I have several accounts used for sending. Now to save time, i just want to integrate those gmail emails in hubspot(which I did).

Unfortunately, the name in the from field only reflects the account instead of the original names of the those emails being integrated.

Is there a way to use the names of those that are integrated in the email as well?

Hello @JohnPaul_Burke,

Currently, there is not a native tool where you are able to show different signatures based on your alias.

As a workaround you could create 2 templates with different signatures, choosing the appropriate one based on who you are emailing.
