Connect a shared mailbox to your profile

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how I can attach a shared mailbox (0365) to the personal account settings. I have attempted other sign in options but non of these are doable as it requests a username and password.

Does anyone have this problem and or have a work around to this?

Hi @JimmyJay ,

per default, Shared Inboxes don't have a password. The first step would be to reset/create a password for the inbox: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange/shared-mailbox-can-have-a-password-and-login-enabled-without/m-p/280768

Also check out this thread, which might be helpful.

It's definitely possible to connect a shared inbox as an "Inbox" in HubSpot using this method. I'm not sure if it can be connected as a personal inbox in HubSpot, but it might work if you have a password.

Unfortunately the MS Exchange Article was written in 2018. Is there still an option in O365 envoirment? I didn't find something similiar in our admin plattform...
