Hi,

is there any way that I can create a default design for email templates, so that every email I send is in line with our branding and seems more trustworthy? Especially for outbound mails, I deem this super important. As far as I understand, it's only possiblle to apply a special design to marketing emails or emails that are used in workflows. Thanks in advance!

Hi @ZFI,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

That's correct, custom design/drag & drop email editor is only available for marketing emails. But still, have you already considered creating templates for sales/1:1 emails as described in this help article?

I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation to see if they can share any advice:

Hi @Ben_M, @FCorbaci, @beeginman, do you have any tips for @ZFI? Thank you!

Sequenced emails should not have a design other than having the same signature as they are meant to be seen as a personally sent email as opposed to a marketing email where there are graphcis and other features. If your personal one to one emails start to look like marketing, regardless if they are sent from a personal address, then it is possible that person could have all their emails end up in a promotions folder on gmail (or similar service).

Certainly, it is possible to establish a standardized design for all your emails in order to maintain consistency with your brand. Develop a personalized email signature that incorporates your logo and contact details. Utilize the template functionality available in email platforms such as Outlook or Gmail to design and save your preferred email layout. Alternatively, you can utilize services like Mailchimp to generate reusable HTML templates. Additionally, explore the option of utilizing plugins that assist in managing branded email templates. By following these steps, you can guarantee that all your emails possess a professional and reliable appearance.

While I agree with this sentiment, I would like to see more sequence template options, namely font stacks and line-height options, as I would like to match those of my personal emails sent through Outlook and the font stack chosen in my signature.

Is there a way to change fonts or insert inline styles to email templates?

I think sequenced emails can have a bit more than a single signature before it crosses the line and start coming across like marketing email

An email template that feature:

Minimal Branding: Limit graphics to just a small logo or header, similar to a printed letterhead.

Plain Text Content: Avoid rich formatting like multiple colors, images, or large fonts.

Personal Tone: Focus on clear, conversational language that feels personal.

Consistent Signature: Include your standard business signature, which maintains a professional tone.

HubSpot's own notification email does not align with my #2. Does the email come across as promotional or marketing like?

I found this thread because I wanted at least this kind of layout.
