I know we can forward the email in Hubspot but I am unable to find any option to do the email forwarding automatically instead of doing it manually.

Is automatic email forwarding feature availiable in Hubspot??

Hi @KJohal,

Do you want to forward emails from HubSpot to another email address or from a non-HubSpot inbox to HubSpot?

As far as I know, the former is not possible. The latter can be achieved in most email clients. The exact steps depend on what you're using:

Create rules to filter your emails

Manage email messages by using rules

Best regards!

Any email coming into HubSpot came from another inbox before landing in HubSpot. I'd recommend setting up the forwarding at the source.

Hi Karsten

I have already managed to setup the forwarding. a) manually from my mail account's inbox to Hubspot in order to create contacts and b) from my mail account's inbox to a second mail account of mine for testing reasons. Both processes work. Now I want to automatically forward it to hubspot from my mail account. Basically the same thing. However, it does not work, since it does not create contacts. However a) and b) work. What coudl be the reason?

This is what I'm trying to do too. But when I add our Hubspot forwarding email address to my rules on Google Workspace email, it sends a code to our Hubspot forwarding email... which doesn't get sent back to us.

Xero has solved this problem by forcing to send an auth email, but I can't seem to find this on Hubspot.

I wouldn’t say this is solved. I want to create an automation where, when we receive an outbound lead email reply and I assign a new owner in HubSpot, the new owner receives the forwarded reply in their inbox instead of a new email being sent. That way, the conversation continues in the same thread in their inbox instead of creating another thread. I’d love to set this up in HubSpot (I’ve been trying to find a way to do it in Zapier, but it doesn’t seem possible so far).
