Email Notification from sent emails

I was wondering if there was a way to stop being notified when I opened an email that I wrote. Many times I go to my sent folder in Outlook to reread emails for information that I originally sent out. When this happens I get notified that "someone has opened the email". Also when someone responds to my email and I read their response I get the same email. I was just wondering if there is a way to opt out of that notification.

I also have a question about this, different issue but same core problem. When using email tracking to see if a recipient has opened an email - it is showing that the email was opened if I look at the sent mail. It makes the software unusable for me because if I need to go back and check a sent mail, I can no longer track whether it was the recipient that opened it, because it always shows as "opened" even though it was opened by me. Why is it showing the email is being opened when I am the one opening it? Shouldn't it only be the recipient?
