Hi, @ZBeaston ,

I can take an educated guess that the Company name field is empty. That's a common misunderstanding that I've seen over the years.

There's a property called Company Name, which is on the Contact object. This is often used in forms where people can add that.

There's the other element of an actual company record connected with the contact. Now, both, the connection and the property are different things. This means that you can have a contact that has a company linked to them and, of course, the company has the "Company name" property filled in. That doesn't automatically update the "Company name" on the contact object though.

In the personalisation you've used, you're referring to the Company name on the contact record. I'd say check to make sure that's there before referencing it.

To be on the safer side, you might want to use the Company name on the Company record in the personalisation instead.

As the way Hubspot works, unless it's a free email address, if someone gets into the system, .e.g email@thecrmsquad.com if there's no company record for that domain name, the system will create that. Then the AI tool will get the company name, domain and other info and will have it linked correctly.

My observation over the years is that unless there's a workflow in place to populate the company name on the contact from the company, the company name on the contact often ends up blank, and thus unusable for personalisations and automation like your requirement.

I hope this helps,

Eli

I'm having issues with the "Contact: Company name" personalized token (see below screenshots.)

The contact name is associated with the company name and it pulls the contacts first name but not the company name. Not sure what I'm doing wrong there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
