Enroll contacts in sequence but change sender name

I am trying to enroll contacts into a sequence, but i cannot change the sender name email. It only gives me the option to send my email as the sender email, not someone else's.

As far as I know this can't be done in the sequences tool.

There is a workaround but requires a Sales or Service Hub Enterprise subscription. Using a contact-based workflow, you can enroll contacts into a sequence and choose the sender:

Thought I'd add:

You can do this if you connect your colleague's email inbox to your user in your email settings (it can be connected to both your and their user, and won't affect other tools like calendar sync as far as I'm aware).

It's important to note that:

You will be the sequence user, meaning any tasks assigned to the sender will be assigned to you, and you won't be able to filter sequence statistics based on sender.
HubSpot will still use your profile's name for the sender name.
HubSpot will still use your email signature, not theirs.

So all in all, it's a big hassle, but if you don't have access to enterprise or are not planning on getting it anytime soon, this may be your best option.

We recently launched an app called Enrollem, which allows you to automatically enroll contacts into a Sequence using workflows without the need for an Enterprise plan and also allows you to select the user who the sequences comes from or even the contact owner dynamically. You can check it out here.
