email reply window blocks original email message

Hello Community,

Does anyone know how to change the behavior of email replies in Hubspot? When I reply to an email from the activities pane in a contact record, a new window is spawned where I can reply (see attachment). Unfortunately, this new window blocks the original message, and one can only drag/reposition this window partially out of the way. Very limiting.

Anyone else experience this, or is there an email setting that allows one to reply directly within the original email thread instead of having this external reply window?

@JHebert This looks like a bug - typically it populates in the bottom right as the screenshot below shows:

I would recommend submitting a ticket to HubSpot Support on getting this issue resolved.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I didn't provide enough information.
Yes, you are correct; when replying to a message, the reply window is in the position you show. However, this reply window is not "tethered" and can be moved anywhere within the borders of the Hubspot window. Unfortunately, when attempting to drag the reply window completely out of the way of the original email thread, the reply window is either cut off at the edges of the HubSpot window or still blocks a small portion of the original email thread.

So the ideal solution would be to have the ability to reply within the thread without an external window being spawned that covers the original thread. I was hoping there was a setting that allows one to reply directly in the thread without the "aid" of an external window.
