Emails drafts keep deleting

I typed this same message a couple weeks ago and accepted a solution to it because i was told by someone this has never happened to them in 3 years. I can now say it is happening daily to me, a 2 month long user of hubspot now, and it is so beyond infuriating...

Is it just me or does the email tool just randomly delete all of your work? It's happened to me on several occassions where I have a long email put together (or template that i've edited) and then boom, everything i've typed up is deleted (besides signature), or it just reverts back to the saved template that I initially inserted. Edit: I have discovered that it always happens after clicking return once or twice on my keyboard to create a new line (MX keys for mac). No option to hit undo or anything to get back to 5-10 minutes of work I may have just put in customizing the message. Please, please fix this

Hi @salesperson,

Are you experiencing this across different browsers? This might by a browser-issue, related to specific settings or extensions that you have running in that browser. Especially privacy-related extensions are known to cause issues. (If another browser works fine, I'd recommend disabling and then re-enabling extensions one by one to identify the one that potentially causes the conflict.)

Until then, I'd recommend draft emails in the notes tool of your choice and then copying and pasting the content into HubSpot. It's an annoying workaround, I know, but it means that you won't lose your work.

Same happened to me, I hope Hubspot can create automatic drafts once you are writting and email as gmail does.

I think, best option is to use gmail integrated with hubspot instead of writting emails directly through hubspot

I try to as many times as possible. Sometimes I am just in hubspot and it's quicker to do it there. Funny thing is I know exactly when it is about to happen, and it will happen at least once every day if I am emailing through it

YEs, i agree. it's muche easier to send email through Hubspot.
I think if its a quick email that you are using a template then no problem if you lose it. In my case was a long email and also without any template, which it made me very angry when i lost it.
How do you know when this happens? Is when you change your window?

I'll try to record my screen next time but it happens whenever I simultaneously use enter and the delete key. It's hard to describe

This is getting to the point of ridiculous. You need to fix this! I've been using hubspot for years now, have complained frequently. No "undo" button. It happens to me DAILY. Telling us to double up and write it in notes and paste in our email is redundant and time consuming and does not on any level fix the problem. Why won't hubspot fix this? It's not a browser issue. Do you not see how many of us are complaining? I love hubspot, but this is not a solution! Fix it.

You need to get this video in front of support! I have been unsuccessful and they tell us to work-around by writing emails in notes first which is ridiculous!

Why is this post just being ignored by hubspot? For anyone in sales/customer success like me that could be sending 20-50 emails a day through the site, it is absolutely ridiculous for us to experience this issue on virtually every single email. Please, someone reach out/put some attention on this @karstenkoehler

@Xavi Here is what happens. I can also show a quick screenshot example. So for me, whenever I type the letter "I", the auto-correct to capitalize it comes up, and if you hit backspace, it replaces it with a capital "I", and the cursor right behind it. Then whenever you hit return is when it wipes out the entire email template

@DianaGomez I don't know how to contact support. I am just on the starter version of hubspot and it doesn't look like I can even chat or email in. Can someone that works there just share this with them?
