Integrate Gmail emails prior to track

Hello,

I just added the HubSpot Track email feature to my Gmail but I have emails to clients prior to adding to Track. Is there a way to integrate emails into Hubspot prior to launching the Track feature?

Hi @SNaas,

A manual option would be the forwarding email address which you can use to forward selected emails into HubSpot: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/settings/log-email-in-your-crm-with-the-bcc-or-forwarding-address

HubSpot does not have a bulk forwarding feature yet. However, there are third-party solutions like Threads which offer historic email import: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/marketing/data-management/threads

Historical email import

What is it?

Please not it is supported for Gmail only for this rollout

Historical email import is a new powerful onboarding tool that allows users to bring in contacts and old email threads from their inbox to HubSpot so they can easily continue their prospecting efforts in the new CRM.

Why does it matter?

Starting from scratch in a new system is hard. By importing in all your existing context to your CRM, you can pick right up where you left off but using HubSpot's powerful tools.

How does it work?

After connecting a personal email, use the Actions drop down menu to select "Import historical data". This will guide you through a flow where you can define your date range, choose to import emails for existing contacts or create new contacts as well.

Admins can turn this feature on or off and set defaults in Email Log & Track settings.
