automate an email once lead become a customer

How do you automate an email once a lead becomes a customer. I thought this would be quite a simple task, sadly no!

I found out you can't do any automation's on the free version.

I asked my client to upgrade to the paid starter plan. However, it now appears you can only do the automation with the Pro version (at £702/month?

Is there a workaround does anyone know?

Hi @JAspin9,

That's correct, this requires a Marketing Hub Professional subscription with access to workflows and automated marketing emails. It's not possible on the Starter tier and there aren't any native workarounds. You would have to look I to integrations or third party automation to trigger an email, but it can't be an automated HubSpot email without the mentioned subscription.
