Hi @ISmolin,

First, ensure you are using HubSpot’s built-in email tool. It automatically tracks link clicks and provides detailed reports under the “Email Performance” tab.

For even deeper insights, try creating tracking links with HubSpot’s tracking URL builder. This tool is ideal for campaigns shared outside your regular lists, such as on social media or in partner newsletters.

Hi colleagues,

I am sharing our use case and what we are trying to achieve, but was not able to get precise information from HS CSM. We want to track the link to the demo below, which will be attached to the e-mail: 1-on-1 or sequence.

https://demo.intiaro.com/intiaro-configurator/index.html?id=17392

We want to see if the person to whom we sent an email clicked this exact link.

Is it achievable via sequences? What if we have two links in a sequence: a) booking a meeting link in a footer, and b) a demo configurator link above. Will we see clicks to the precise link a, b, or both a and b, or just general clicks with no data, which exact link was clicked by the person who is part of a sequence?

Should we use instead - the URL tracking link for the demo configurator link: https://demo.intiaro.com/intiaro-configurator/index.html?id=17392 with embedded code?

Will it show in the dashboard (related to URL tracking link), contacts if they are already in HS, that clicked it, or just sessions (overall number)?

I believe that if we use a normal one-on-one email, we can see which exact link in our email the recipient clicked.

Thanks.

Hello, there,

Thanks for your response. We do use the built-in tool and I think it works
well for sequences and 1-on-1 emails.

Regarding the tracking URL, especially for social media, it shows only the
number of sessions—nothing specific we are interested in: who clicked that
link and when (we are talking about contacts we have in HS).

Moreover, HS support mentioned that the purpose of using a tracking URL is
to turn an unknown person into a contact asking to fill out the form (fill
the data name, surname, email etc) once a person clicks this link. I was
quite surprised by it.

Cheers

Ilia Smolin
Sales Enablement Specialist
ilia.smolin@intiaro.com
<> <>
<>

www.db3d.com
www.intiaro.com <>

I’m looping in some other community members for additional expertise, as it seems this is still unresolved. @GiantFocal , you’ve shared some really helpful guidance around tracking links in HubSpot before — would love your insights here, any additional tips? Also @Jigar_Thakker and @tverdokhlib1 do you have any suggestions?
