Landing page not publishing

I am currently trying to publish my first landing page using the free marketing hub. Every time I go to publish I receive a message saying "Error, something went wrong, please try refreshing"

I have cleared my cache, logged out, tried incognito, double checked that all my settings have ticks next to them....

Any ideas?

Are you still experiencing this issue?

Can you confirm if you are a Super Admin or have the proper user permissions (more on this here) to publish landing pages in your HubSpot instance?

If you do have the proper permissions, can you include a screenshot of the full error message, please?

Kristen,

We are having the same issue - we cannot publish the landing page. I am super admin and have tried everything such as logging out/in, incognito browser session, clearing cache and some other users tried too. Please see below the screenshot.

Hi @GVerweij,

Thanks for reaching out!

This error can be caused for a number of reasons such as a missing page title, a domain that is not supported on a free account, or a landing page limit for free accounts (free accounts have a 20 landing page limit).

When you get to publish the page and hovered over the orange 'publish' button, did you see any errors come up under "Required"? Such as page title is required?

Hi Kristen,

I checked everything you mentioned - there were no issues under "Required". The domain was the one that was set as default in the free account. We only had 2 landing pages in the account.

Because we were under time pressure - I did purchase a one month subscription. From then on, I didnt change anything and the 'Publish' button worked without any issue.

What could it have been? What are the domains that are supported with the free account? (it had a domain in the dropdown that was a hubspot domain).

Thanks for the details!

It's hard to diagnose this error as it can occur for a variety of reasons and can be - from two users having the same landing page editor open on their desktops to a domain error.

In regards to your domain question, this error can occur because a portal no longer has access to the hs-sites domain. In this case, you would need to switch your domain to the pagebuilder.

To do this, go to Settings > Website > Domains and Urls, and then scroll down and toggle on "display system domains" then where the hubspotpagebuilder domain is present you'll need to set that as the primary domain.

If you see this error again, I would recommend collecting a HAR file (directions here) and reaching out to our Technical Support Team to get immediate assistance if you have access to it.
