@StewC I'm not sure what you mean by a hidden redirect, any redirect in HubSpot would appear on the list of redirects.

Redirects are found in Settings > Website > Domains & URLs > URL Redirects tab

If you don't have many pages you should see it listed, but if you have a lot of redirects you can use the search feature to track it down by the URL.

Based on the changes you made, it sounds like maybe you were trying to create a new page with the same URL and even if archived, that isn't possible in HubSpot, the only way to fix it is changing the page that initially contained the URL you want to re-use.

Hope this helps add clarity to what's happening.

I am building a website using the "free" platform tools. I've published two pages, one of which uses a form that I previously used in a landing page. Both pages have URLs in the format xxx.hubspotpagebuilder.com/slug. Page A with slug /welcome, works works correctly. But Page B, with slug /getting-started, does a redirect to an old landing page that has been unpublished and archived. This redirect happens no matter how I choose to View Page B.

I've unpublished and archived my landing pages. So now the redirect results in a Page Not Found. I can't find a way to delete the redirect. The table of redirects does not appear where I expect in in Settings>Domains & URLs. Even if the same slug (getting-started) was used in both an older landing page and a newer, published webpage, shouldn't the redirect go away now that I've published the newer page?

In the FWIW: when I changed the page name and slug on Page B, and edited the Navigation to point to the renamed Page B, all works as expected. Still, seems like a redirect was not overwritten as promised...

@Jnix284, thanks for your reply. Re the Redirects tab: yes, that's where I would expect the redirects to be -- but for this account (free plan) that tab does not appear in Settings >Website... I'm used to working with it in another account, which is Marketing Professional. I just assumed this was another way that the low-end plan is minus some features.

I do think you're right, my problem was self-inflicted by trying to re-use the same page name, maybe before renaming the first version. Or, to be supersitious: the redirect pointed to a page I had renamed /mystery.

Thanks!

URL redirects are included with Starter and I haven't had a chance to test out the new FREE CMS yet, I am a little surprised this is viewed as a paid feature, it seems somewhat necessary for any website.
