The 400 Bad Request error is an HTTP status code that means that the request you sent to the website server, often something simple like a request to load a web page, was somehow incorrect or corrupted and the server couldn't understand it. The 400 Bad Request error is oftentimes caused by entering or pasting the wrong URL in the address window but there are some other relatively common causes as well.

Are you experiencing a 400 error when using a Hubspot Product? If so, can you please provide a screenshot and some additional details about the steps that you are taking to get to that error?

I was pasting the contents of a new column in my view. to 99 contact records. It refused ot save and gave me: https://app.hubspot.com/api/inbounddb-objects/v1/crm-objects/0-1 failed with status 400.

When you see a 400 error, such as the one you described, `failed with status 400`, it means the server thinks your request is malformed. In plain English: something about the data you sent, or the way you sent it, doesn’t match what the server expects.

This can happen for a few reasons:

The data format is off (maybe a missing field or wrong type).
The URL is incorrect or incomplete.
There are special characters or invalid values in your input.
Sometimes, pasting a large amount of data at once (such as 99 contact records) can cause issues with the system if even one value is incorrect.
