Hey @rawmango24,

if you have HubDB (Content Hub Pro; Marketing Enterprise). You can easily use it to handle content on a global level without relying on to many global modules.

A super easy example for something like FAQ:

Only two columns (2x text or 1 text & 1 rich-text)

first column will be for the question

second column for the "answer"

Then, create a custom module put a few HubDB functions in it, style it, done.

The great thing about HubDB: You can export it as a XLS(X) or CSV, apply all your changes and upload it back into HubSpot. Super easy to collab with people who don't have access to your portal

If you like to structure it a bit more, you can add something like a choice/select option and creat headlines/categories

HubDB can also be used to create whole page structures like

/products

/products/category/
/products/category/product

with the so-called dynamic pages -> each row will be a page

There are also more advanced & technical ways how to manage content on a global level, but HubDB is extremly powerful and versatile

best,

I have been managing a set of product pages that share similar sections (like FAQs and feature blurbs). Updating them one by one inside HubSpot CMS is starting to feel repetitive, especially when small copy changes need to roll out everywhere.

I tried using global content modules, which help, but they are not always flexible when a page needs slight variations. Has anyone found a good balance between centralized control and per-page customization?

How are you handling this kind of scale in your content updates?

As someone who builds mostly on the CMS side, I have run into this exact tension. Global modules make version control easier, but they can become rigid once marketing teams want small page-level tweaks. What has worked for me is creating semi-global modules, shared templates with flexible fields for localized edits.

It keeps things manageable while still allowing variation. I also document which modules feed multiple pages so no one edits something in isolation and breaks consistency elsewhere.

This is such a common challenge when working at scale in HubSpot. Keeping content consistent across multiple pages while allowing flexibility for small edits can be tough. Global modules help, but they do have limits when teams need unique tweaks. Really curious to see how others are balancing standardization and customization, it’s something every growing site eventually runs into.
