That means the records you set up in Porkbun will not have any effect. If you want to keep using Porkbuns DNS you should need to switch the nameservers back otherwise just manage everything directly from Microsoft’s DNS settings. i have done my site client which is about sso id

Custom Domain "No Record Found" Error

Hello,

I've purchased a domain through Porkbun, created a website through Hubspot Content Hub (free plan), and followed Hubspot's instructions on how to Connect a Domain by adding the appropriate A and CNAME information in my Porkbun DNS manager.

The initial verification came back and stated "No Record Found." I've also waited the 24 hours as recommended and tried again, still "No Record Found."

The only other thing I've configured in Porkbun's DNS manager was adding a CNAME, TXT, and MX to allow custom domain for my Microsoft emails. Microsoft also had me change the (4) default NS to their microsoftonline NS per their implementation instructions.

Am I missing something or does Hubspot not integrate with the Porkbun registrar / DNS manager?

Hi @DocK,

Since you changed the default NS, your DNS is likely managed by Microsoft now and any DNS records you have on Porkbun would be ignored. If that is the case, then you would need to add the DNS records through Microsoft's DNS editor instead of Porkbun (otherwise you would need to change the NS back to default).

Hope this helps!

From what you’ve described, it looks like the issue isn’t with HubSpot or Porkbun directly, but rather with your nameserver (NS) setup. When you updated the NS records to Microsoft’s (for email hosting), you essentially handed over DNS management to Microsoft. That means any A or CNAME records you add in Porkbun are no longer active because Microsoft’s DNS is now in control. For HubSpot to verify your domain, the required records (especially the A record and the specific CNAME) must be added in Microsoft's DNS zone instead of Porkbun. I'd recommend logging into Microsoft 365's DNS manager (usually via your domain section in Microsoft Admin Center), and re-adding the exact A and CNAME values provided by HubSpot there. Once those are saved, wait a bit for propagation, then retry the verification in HubSpot.
